When he first began to study evaporative cooling technology, Gu Guobiao was only 22 years old and had just joined the recently established Institute of Electrical Engineering. “Not to do with foreign duplication of things, to do one or two things beyond the foreign.” This idea, once regarded as “ridiculous”, became the lifelong belief of him and his team. For decades, they have been thinking about how to apply evaporative cooling technology to a broader field, not only to meet the country's major needs, but also to play a role in the main battlefield of the national economy.

More than seven hundred representatives from Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission, Shenzhen Housing and Construction Bureau, Shenzhen Construction and Public Works Department, Shenzhen Futian District, Nanshan District, Guangming District, Longgang District, Longhua District, Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation District Construction and Public Works Department, Shenzhen Survey and Design Industry Association, 389 member design units, chief engineers, deputy chief engineers, engineers, construction and maintenance of high efficiency air-conditioning systems for district cooling, equipment and material manufacturers, research and development units attended the meeting. More than seven hundred representatives attended the meeting.

Waste heat heating in data centers is an important way to improve the energy utilization efficiency of data centers and achieve clean heating in winter. This paper proposes a long-distance heating system for data centers, setting up a multi-stage heat pump at the heat source and heat sink to increase the temperature difference between the supply and return water of the heating pipeline network, and using a heat storage device to guarantee the safety of the data center and the heating system, and to improve the utilization rate of waste heat in the data center. A data center in Zhangjiakou was analyzed as an example, and the initial investment of the system is 50.21 yuan/m2, the operating cost is 26.37 yuan/GJ, and the payback period is about 5.31 a, which has better economy and energy saving and emission reduction effect.

To put it simply, the so-called “two-connected supply” is to use a set of air energy heat pump system to provide “hot water + heating” or “heating + cooling” two combinations of functions; The “triple-heating” is to provide “air conditioning + floor heating + hot water” three combinations of functions. The terms “two-connected supply” and “three-connected supply” generally refer to hot and cold water air-conditioning systems.
